PMI has been offering mechanical services to a wide array of government, industrial, commercial, and institutional customers since 1986. PMI installs process piping and equipment, plumbing and HVAC systems in hospitals, schools, airports/air bases, semiconductor manufacturing facilities and launch complexes.

Principle Responsibilities

Skilled in general mechanical abilities. Must be able to read blueprints; layout to tight tolerances. Must be able to weld 6G and pass an Xray quality
proficiency test.

Standard Duties
Using arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches, welds together metal components and alloys such as pipelines, boilers for a variety of complex
precision assemblies. Involves a considerable amount of welding to high strength and pressure requirements. Joins together components of
fabricated sheet metal assemblies; cut, trim, or scarf metal objects to dimensions, as specified by layout, work orders, or blueprints.

Requirements
High school degree or equivalent education/experience plus three years trade related experience preferred. Certification required.
Capabilities
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals.
Physical Requirements
Standing, bending, stooping, lifting up to 70 lbs.
Equipment to be Used
Arc welders, gas welders, gas torches.
