We are looking for a skilled  Senior Mechanic with strong diagnostic, repair, and troubleshooting abilities. This role involves hands-on maintenance of a range of  construction equipment, including Ford F-350 gas and diesel trucks, CAT, John Deere, Bobcat machines, and other heavy equipment. This position also includes supervising shop operations, coordinating parts purchases, and ensuring preventative maintenance is completed on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair gas and diesel trucks (F-350 and similar)
• Maintain and service heavy equipment (CAT, John Deere, Bobcat, etc.)
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
• Manage and mentor junior mechanics
• Order and track parts and supplies
• Maintain organized shop and service records
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a mechanic working on gas/diesel trucks and heavy equipment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
• Ability to lead or manage other mechanics
• Experience with purchasing and inventory a plus
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Punctuality and reliability are essential
• Must be able to  commute to Wimberley, TX daily

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Wimberley, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Diesel & Gas engine repair: 5 years (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 7 years (Preferred)
