Job Description: Delivery Driver
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver for local deliveries.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting company materials and products to designated locations within 
specified timelines. Your attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication 
skills will contribute to your success in this role. 

Responsibilities: 
• Efficiently manage time to meet delivery deadlines, adapting to traffic or route changes when 
necessary. 
• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport company materials, ensuring adherence to traffic 
regulations and safe driving practices. 
• Maintain physical fitness to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and perform loading and 
unloading of products. 
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address basic issues that may arise during deliveries, 
such as traffic or route changes. 
• Possess a valid driver's license in the province or territory of intended work. 
• Exhibit flexibility by adjusting routes or schedules to accommodate company timelines. 
• Communicate effectively with upper management, promptly reporting any issues or problems 
encountered on the road. 
• Demonstrate organizational skills by maintaining calendars and appointments. 
• Drive the delivery vehicle in a responsible and efficient manner. 
• Ensure the proper loading and unloading of products for safe transport. 
• Regularly inspect the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. 
• Maintain accurate records of fuel costs, mileage, and vehicle maintenance. 
• Deliver items within the designated delivery date and time. 
• Assemble or install items (e.g., furniture, appliances) upon delivery, as required. 
• Collect payment or obtain signatures as proof of delivery. 
• Safeguard the integrity of all delivered items during transport and delivery. 
• Hold a valid driver's license suitable for the type of delivery vehicle needed. 
• Possess certification to handle dangerous goods, if applicable. 
• Have a secondary school diploma. 
• Maintain a clean driving record for the last 12 months. 
• Possess a valid passport if deliveries involve crossing borders. 
• Possess a clean criminal record.
