Job Title: Inventory Control ManagerDrive Operational Excellence Across America's Largest Furniture ManufacturerAshley Furniture Industries, a global leader in furniture manufacturing, is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Corporate Inventory Manager to lead our inventory control, product costing, and operational performance efforts across all divisions.This senior-level role offers a unique opportunity to influence profitability, streamline systems, and lead cross-functional teams that drive real change. You'll work closely with executives, operations, and finance teams to establish best-in-class inventory and costing processes that support Ashley's continued growth.What You'll Do:Lead the development of cost analysis, product pricing systems, and corporate inventory control strategies across multiple manufacturing locationsManage and mentor a team of 4-6 professionals while coordinating cross-functional improvement teams focused on cost reduction, process optimization, and margin improvementDevelop and enforce policies to ensure compliance in inventory controls, product costing, labor reporting, and sales/cost of sales processesConduct internal operational audits and maintain accountability across all divisionsPartner with senior leadership, engineering, design, and operations to align business goals with financial and inventory strategiesProvide data-driven insights and operational reporting to drive key business decisionsDirect internal negotiations related to inventory and costing, and collaborate on pricing with sales and design teamsKey Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)8+ years of progressive leadership experience in inventory control within a large, multi-division manufacturing environmentExpert knowledge in product costing, bills of materials, inventory systems, labor routing, and overhead applicationProven success leading cost reduction and process improvement initiativesStrong analytical, negotiation, and communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/inventory control systemsComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance cultureWhy Ashley?We're not just building furniture-we're building a better workplace.
